Beginning with the images from 9/11,various social problems are presented in this work, such as bullying, physical punishment by teachers, wrist slashing, secret photography, the impulse towards physical violence, and gang rape. The young people of this generation are sick of the world they live in,yet they are intensely angry because they have no means to change themselves or the world around them. The many social problems packed into this work, used to depict the destructive urge stemming from the sense of oppression, are things that we see in the TV news and newspapers on a daily basis. The director’s almost obsessive creative will, even at the risk of such excessive enumeration coming off as being ridiculous, and his ability to gather together the multiple stories have resulted in this powerful work.

The film is a tough and pitiless account of teenage nihilism…a hyperbolic scream of pain at the darkness and injustice of the world . But it’s also transparently sincere and intensely felt. It very clearly comes from a communicate , to share — and exorcise.
